Refunds & Cancellation Policy
HOST CANCELATIONS

Single Class: In the occasion that a class must be cancelled due to poor weather conditions, illness of the instructors, or other unforeseen circumstances, classes will either be added to the end of the course or extended to a longer class. If a class must be cancelled, the instructors will inform the attendees no later than 5 hours before the start of the class.

Full Class: Sitka Stage & Screen reserves the right to cancel any classes or workshops if numbers fall below the minimum requirement or for other exceptional reasons. In such an event you will be informed of this decision as soon as possible and given the opportunity to book on the next available class or workshop available. If a suitable replacement class or workshop is not available, a full refund will be given for the cancelled class or workshop.
STUDENT CANCELATIONS

Missed Class: If a student misses class or arrives late, Sitka Stage & Screen cannot guarantee a makeup for said day or any products missing due to any unattended class. Refunds will not be given for any missed classes.

7 Days Before Class Start Date: Full refunds are given up to 7 days of the class start day.

6 - 1 Day(s) Before Class Start Date: 50% of the class cost will be refunded if requested between 6-1 days before the class start date.

Class Start Date - After Class Starts: No refund will be given if requested the day of class or after.
COVID-19

Covid-19 Cancelation: In the case that the Comox Valley is under quarantine, or we are unable to continue classes do to Covid-19, Sitka Stage & Screen will divide the cost of the class evenly and refund the value of the remaining classes.
INSTALMENTS

The monthly payment plan is a financing service offered free of charge and therefore subject to the same rules as full registration payment. Automatic billing and/or cheques issued will still be deposited in the case of withdrawal.
Fees & Charges

A non-refundable retainer of $115 + tax per class is required for each student and is due at time of registration.

The remaining balance of payment will be divided between the months of the class (ie. If the class runs between January 1st - April 1st, the remaining balance will be divided into 4 payments)

The remaining balance of payments are due on the 1st of each month (ie. January 1st)

Credit cards can be billed automatically, or you can provide post-dated cheques.

We are unable to collect registration fees from multiple payors.

GST will be added to the listed registration fees.

A charge of $30 will be applied to NSF cheques and declined credit cards. Payment by Visa, MasterCard, e transfer or post-dated cheques.

Please note, GST will be applied to all registration fees at time of billing.
