The movie and television industry is booming in BC, bringing in over $34 billion into to our economy in the last year alone. ​ Many of the jobs filled are on camera and generally filled by those close to the action in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. Sitka Stage & Screen is offering an introduction to television and film that gives you the tools necessary to get started working in this industry. Whether it is you, or your child that is interested in acting, this meeting will be filled with all the nitty-gritty details and admin side to the business. This one hour meeting covers topics such as building an industry standard portfolio, acquiring your agent, background verses acting work, lingo, etiquette, and what to expect while in auditions and on set. After this meeting you will know how to find credible agencies, understand the materials necessary to apply for agency representation, how to present yourself (or your child) in the best light, how to read a call sheet, and understand basic set terminology. You will leave with a solid understanding of what to do to see yourself or your child on screen.​ ​​ *Masks are mandatory* ** Following the BC covid regulations, If 21 years or older, proof of vaccine is required for all entering the premises**

Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of private bookings, late cancellations are not available. If you can no longer attend your booking, you are able to reschedule for another day if cancelled 48 hours in advance. To do so, please contact us. Cancellations within 48 hours will not be subject to refunds.
