This advanced on-camera acting class for actors with agents emphasizes refining performances and being prepared and ready for the business. Participants work on deepening character portrayals both through tapes and in class filmed worked. The class also covers practical aspects like agent communication, actor business, and readiness for set. The goal is to enhance authenticity, versatility, and professionalism, keeping actors sharp and competitive.

Self Tape Boot Camp is the perfect mini workshop to learn all the technical ins and outs of a self tape and how to send it off! Whether you are applying to agents, auditioning for Indy Films or working on your at home set up for professional auditions, this is for you!

You will bring your own filming device (phone, camera, tablet, etc) and a device to edit on (phone, laptop, tablet) and we will teach you the tricks of the trade! We will cover how to create the perfect at home set up, how to work with a reader, filming and framing, editing, saving and sending of a self tape!

This class offers an immersive and professional experience designed to introduce beginners to the art of acting on camera. Whether you're looking to pursue acting as a career or simply want to try something new and engaging, our class is perfect for you.
Throughout the class, participants will learn the essentials of acting on camera, including partner scene work, audition techniques, film lingo, set etiquette, all of this along with personalised feedback and guidance will help participants hone their skills and gain a deeper understanding of the craft.

At the end of the course, participants will receive one headshot and two pieces of filmed work, which can be used to showcase their talent and build their acting portfolio should they choose to do so.

Practice Makes Perfect

Welcome to Practice Makes Perfect, an advanced acting on camera class designed specifically for adults who are ready to take their skills to the next level! Our innovative and engaging approach will ensure that you get the most out of your experience with us. We'll be focusing on the essential skills needed to book film, TV and commercial jobs, with a particular emphasis on cold reading and script analysis.

Through a series of mock auditions, you'll have the opportunity to practice and refine these skills in a real-world environment, with constructive feedback and self-reflection at the core of our approach. This will help you to build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed in the highly competitive world of acting on camera.

You'll learn how to make bold choices, connect with the camera and develop a dynamic on-camera presence that will set you apart from the competition. But the learning doesn't stop there! Each participant will leave with a minimum of 4 pieces of filmed work from class, allowing you to watch yourself back and analyze your performances with a critical eye.

Adult Advanced Improv

Embrace the challenge of creating an improvised show ( we will pick the theme together in class one). Then drawing inspiration from pop culture shows, movies and chapters we will build an improvised show! This intensive is perfect for those ready to push their improv skills to the next level!
