Over three fast-paced weeks, performers work with professional acting, music, and dance instructors to rehearse, collaborate, and grow as an ensemble, bringing a full-scale production to life from the ground up. The experience finishes with 3 live performances on the stage of the Sid Williams Theatre.
Centre Stage is open to beginners and experienced performers. While no prior experience is required, the program is designed for students who are ready to commit, work hard, and challenge themselves in a professional-style rehearsal environment.
Show titles and program details are announced each January, with registration opening at the same time.
For students who love the magic behind the curtain, Centre Stage now offers a Production Team track. Participants will train in backstage roles including hair, makeup, costume design, lighting, stage management, and crew - working alongside directors and designers to support the live performances at the Sid Williams Theatre.

Additional weekend masterclasses will be offered throughout the program, giving both performers and production team students the opportunity to train with visiting theatre professionals in specialized areas of theatre. Topics may include performance, design, and technical theatre, offering deeper insight into professional practices.
