Through fun and engaging exercises, you'll learn the essential steps to building a character, master memorization techniques, and explore the art of on-camera scene work. Guiding you every step of the way, we provide personalized coaching to help you reach your full potential.

We'll also cover the latest film lingo and industry trends, and teach you the ins and outs of on-set etiquette. And the best part? You'll get to showcase your talents in front of the camera, and leave with a professional headshot and two pieces of filmed work to add to your portfolio.

On Set Adventures - AGES 10-15

Monday - Friday 

March 27th - 31st

1:00pm - 4:00pm

Lights! Camera! Action! A short film will be developed through teamwork and collaboration.

 

Bring your presence to the big screen by using your imagination. Learn character development, acting skills, how to build off each other's ideas.

 

At the end of the week, students will have a screening of their original short film starring them!

Script to Screen - Ages 10 - 15 

SUNDAYS

In this class, students explore their creativity, develop their storytelling skills, and learn how to work collaboratively as a team. We believe that great things come from great teamwork, and we encourage our students to build off of each other's ideas and see where it takes us. This class offers a safe and supportive environment for students to explore their creativity and learn important skills that they can take with them beyond the classroom.

 

Our students will then be cast in a short film, written by them, gaining valuable experience in front of the camera and developing their acting skills. We believe that acting is a great way for everyone to build confidence and express themselves creatively. We encourage them to take risks, trust their instincts, and find their unique style of performance. 

 

By the end of the class, our students will have gained important skills that they can apply to many aspects of their lives, from school presentations to job interviews. We can't wait to see the magic they will bring to the screen!

Audition Basics

WEEKEND 

August 12th - 13th

Are you a teen looking to improve your audition skills? Do you need help selecting the perfect monologue, making strong acting choices and want to feel confident the next time you go into the room? Then join us for our weekend workshop on audition basics!

 

This workshop will focus on the fundamental skills needed to succeed in auditions, including how to choose and prepare a monologue, how to showcase your strengths as an actor, and how to make a lasting impression.

 

Through character analysis, mock auditions and personalized feedback -  you'll gain the confidence and skills necessary to stand out in any audition.

 

Whether you're new to acting or looking to take your skills to the next level, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to improve your craft and ensure you feel confident in your upcoming auditions.

Monologue Madness

Bring your favourite monologues! 
We will focus on script breakdown, connecting emotions, impactful delivery and confidence. You will learn to create moments before, character breakdowns, script analysis, and explore all sides of your character. The work you learn in this intensive can then be applied to future monologues and scenes you work on. 
This is the perfect intensive if you want to sharpen your skills and prepare for future auditions. You may choose to bring either a monologue from contemporary theatre or film.

Musical Theatre 

SING! DANCE! ACT! This class puts it all together. We learn to work language with our body language and tell our story with not just words alone.

 

We will learn a few routines that are attached to a scene and take a look at how we can use music to help talk about our feelings. How can we show the audience how happy we are…. or how sad!

Theatre Acting 

This class focuses on articulation, projection, body language and learning the areas of the stage.

 

How do I create a character? How do they walk? What do they sound like? How do I communicate the feelings of my character?

 

We learn to listen and respect our fellow actors and how to help them when it is needed.

Voice Over Technique

Learn studio etiquette and how to correctly prepare for voice work. What to do and what NOT to do! ​

Learn the many different types of voice work:

Commercial, Narrative, Audio Books, Animation, & Gaming.
